This can be harder than it sounds. Some days your pup won’t perform to your expectations and you’ll feel stuck. Other days, you’ll get bored with the repetition of it all.

Your feelings of frustration and boredom will certainly impact your training session and may even lead you to get angry. In those moments it’s a good idea to just end the session.

Keep in mind that your dog might be having fun even if you aren’t, so try to find a good note to end on. Give him a job to do that he gets right 99% of the time, even if that’s just rolling over for a good belly rub.
